On July 18th, 2010 we discovered that the sump pump in our basement failed and the basement had flooded. We called Drain Rescue and they sent out a representative to review the situation. He advised he could replace the pump for $700. I had priced sump pumps earlier that morning and questioned the price since I had found several 1/3 HP (similar pumps) costing between $130 and $250.
