I had a safety deposit box with Coastal Federal in early 2000. It was at no cost due to Money Market account I had. I maintained the account until now, thinking I had the box. The contents were such that I did not need to tamper with them. They were family heirlooms to be handed down and fragile. The bank was bought out by BB&T about 2006/07 and sometime during that time..my box was given to someone else. BB&T have no record I ever had a box, all I have as proof are the keys. They said they looked for my items, shook my hand and said they were sorry for my loss. If you have a safety deposit box, you may want to check on it. read full review »
