I bought a Toshiba laptop from Harvey Norman Mutiara Damansara on 16 Jul 2010. When I return the unit to the shop few days later because of a faulty speaker, I was told that I cannot exchange it with a new unit because I did not returned with the box. When I asked why a box is needed, he just said that this is the procedure, then he said they need the serial number when it is clearly stated on the unit itself.
