Called yet again by Michael at Timeshare Taskforce. Two calls actually - the second one after I hung up on the first. Phone(s): 561-243-1818 and 561-243-1410. Calls were virtually 5 seconds apart, so why the complete change in phone numbers? Usual spiel: they'd help me "collect" what the resellers have scammed. Names of persons involved in scam: Jordan Marcus, Jonathan Matthews They will call, saying they got you info from a reseller who had marked your file "Do Not Contact Client." This is used to explain why everything has to be completed within 8 hours or a sale will fall through. Claims to be a mortgage lender who occasionally handles timeshare sales to corporations. Will tell you that the money you sent the reseller was used to pay for everything (title fee, maintenance fee, etc) *except* the attorney to handle the closing... read full review »

Sorry, I don't recall the name of the person who called me. They claimed to be working to recover monies paid out to Florida timeshare scam artists and, for 25% of what they would recover, they would work to recover the funds I'd paid out. I told the gentleman who called me that I had no money to pay him. He responded with "We're not a non-profit organization". I told him I understood, but that he needed to understand that I had zero money to give him upfront. He promptly hung up on me. So beware - they're also trying to scam those who have already been scammed and are truly desperate. read full review »

The salesman, Calvin Summers, informed me that he had a buyer for my unit, and looked forward to "working with me over the next 30-45 to the conclusion of a successful sale".
