We have a top of the line SS Kitchenaid, side by side, cabinet depth refrigerator... actually, we have had two in less than three years. The first was delivered, brand new, out of the box with defects in three of the major sub assemblies. The thing didn't work at all. The retailer of course sent us to Kitchenaid customer service. They sent a rep out to "repair". The rep told us there was so much wrong that he suggested we request a new machine... we did. Kitchenaid refused and gave us a cold shoulder.
