i was also contacted by the great american reader company. I was told i won a 1, 000 shopping spree.I never received it. I was stupid enough to give them my credit card number. i felt like something was not right after talking with them. I called my credit card company and canceled the card. GAR had alredy put through 29.90. Now i just received a letter demanding full payment of 568.10 with a finance charge of 15.00.I am in the process of filing a police report and turning it over to the bbb.I learned the hard way. Never give your credit card to anyone over the phone.If they insist just hang up. read full review »
