My traveling companion had to cancel her trip due to an illness in her family. Trip Mate reimbursed her the entire amount of the trip. They denied my claim. They said they would only pay the amount it would cost for me to go alone. That's ridiculous! I planned to go on this trip with someone and now I am supposed to go by myself. What's worse, it took Trip Mate three months to decide they'd deny my claim and every time I called, I got a different story.
