I am having a HP Pavillion DV9000 notebook PC. A few days back I noticed a prorblem with the left hinge of the notebook, On consulting Service center at Kota I was told that this is not covered under warranty. Same reply was given by HP Care Call Center. However on furter enquiry I discovered that this problem has already been recognised bu HP-US, and free service extended for affected customers.
