In may 2008 we purchased a new 2008 Hyundai Elantra for our daughter. In January 2009 we received our first snow fall, this is when the problem started. Our daughter told us that when she breaks the car does not stop. I (dad) took the car around the block and when I step on the breaks, while driving on snow, the break pedal locks in the up position and the ABS breaks do not stop the car for another 10 to 20 feet.
