I booked a hotel in Boston, using 1800Hotels, on June 3, 2010, and prepaid for two nights. Upon landing in Boston on Aug 3rd, I found that 1800Hotels had cancelled my reservation due to having filed Chapter 11 on July 14, 2010. Excuse me, they filed on 7/14/10 and notify me on 8/3/10 they are cancelling my reservation?? Inexcuseable. After several calls to the hotel and hotel chain I was able to secure a room at the totel I had originally booked at a rate LESS THAN I had recieved from 1800Hotels. 1800Hotels is not reputable. Do NOT BOOK thru them. There are many other travel websites to book thru to get competitive rates. read full review »
