I have an account at Wachovia and my employer (which is a well known place of business in the area) banks through Wachovia. I deposited my check on Friday. When I went to get money on Saturday, they said it would take until Wednesday to get any money. But before I opened an account, I would cash my check there with no problems. So it seems like it's easier to get my money without having the account. So I'm going to close it.
