Purchased Kenmore Dehumidifier in Sept 05 - Came with 5 year warranty on compressor. Compressor failed in summer of 2010 - still under warranty. Made copy of original receipt and warranty - dropped them off in person to Sears along with the dehumidifier. Call rec'd two weeks later saying they needed to know when we purchased the unit.
