I recently bought a semi-mount from the seaofdiamonds.com website to replace the setting of my princess cut diamond. I bought a six-pronged semi-mount that seaofdiamonds.com claims will fit all size diamonds from 0.30 to 3 carats. Upon taking it to my jeweller so that my diamond could be fitted into it, I was informed that six-pronged settings only fit round brilliant diamonds and this setting only took small diamonds (not like mine), and that the setting for a princess cut was like my original setting- four pronged.This is apparently... read full review »
