I have been trying unsuccessfully to close my late father's bank accounts, for more than 2 years after his death! First they said they were closed- but then they 'suddenly' were open again. I have been into the branch countless times, escalated the complaint to the highest authorities but am STILL receiving account statements and no-one has resolved the issue.
