I have been banking with several banks for over 40 years, all over the world. When it comes to charging fees to its customers, Wachovia is by far the worst bank I ever dealt with. While most other banks show debits (ie from debit cards) instantly on your online account or balance, Wachovia takes anywhere from 24 to 48 hours. That includes charges made on your debit card by vendors who have your card on file with you not knowing that a charge may or has occured.
