I purchased a hamster for my son for his 11th birthday. His first pet! The hamster had a few patches of hair missing but they told me that is common among animals living together, sometimes they nip and bite at one another but it was nothing. Within a couple of days the hamster was constantly scratching and losing more hair. I called the store and they said it was stress.
