Back in August of 2009, I picked up a pekingese from Pam Slocum's residence. I selected the puppy and was told by Pam that she was the runt of the litter which at the time was fine with me. The puppy was born in June of 2009. When I went to pick up the puppy, I was told that the puppy only weighed one pound and I expressed my concern that I felt the puppy was too little to take and that I would wait a few more weeks.
