Last year we purchased a house built by Beaverbrook Homes at 9th Line & 16th Avenue in Markham, ON. The contractor who was hired to finish our basement discovered significant water seepage that was hidden behind the insulation. The contractor also discovered an improperly set iron support beam, crumbling cement on the outer wall (between pours) as well as a portion of a concrete pillar that was breaking off in pieces.
