The motor company will not accept responsibility for transmission bearing damage due to chrome flaking off the transmission dipstick. They said that would not cause bearing damage. They also asked if any chrome was found on the drain plug magnet. Chrome is non- magnetic. In other words they blew me off. They would not let me speak with a tech, just said the motor company is not responible, and were not aware of any chrome flaking or peeling problems. Only cost me $850.00. Between the $1000.00 plus for SYN3 oil, and filters over 3 1/2 seasons of riding it was a bargain! My 21st and last H-D! read full review »
