Cablevision has found a new way to raise rates, without calling it a rate hike. Up until now, you could watch many, but not all channels, without the need for a cable box, which of course Cablevision charges for. There slowly moved channel after channel to a category in which you could not longer watch the channel on a TV without a cable box. Now, you have to have a box to watch any channel. Of course, they charge you for the extra boxes. Although they are giving free boxes for a year, after the year, if you want to be able to watch, you will need a box.
