We received a call on September 8th and were told that they saw we were interested in a refinancing. My husband talked for a good half hour to a women and he hung up and said the offered sounded good. He called her back and said we were interested in the rate she was offering. She told him that in order to lock that rate in we would need to provide them with "good faith" money of $500.
