I purchased a used Mercury Mountaineer 2002 in March 2010. I was told by the dealer that he had changed the oil and made sure all the parts were in working order. In the months following the purchase, I had it looked at by my mechanic and he found several things in need of repair - the speedometer, the oil was never changed, the a/c doesn't work properly and a few other repairs.
