Was lied to by a Capital One agent Balance transfer application Oct 05 2010 6:42P Phoned 1.866.543.0808 Capital One to do a balance transfer and the phone agent assured me I would not get a hard hit on my credit score and within 60 seconds a decision would be known. Well, the 60 seconds passed and he said that I would know within two weeks by letter. That's not what we agreed on, and to please WITHDRAW my application.
