I watched the store employee handling the fish roughly both in the tank and out, stirring the tank with the net, then draining the water out of the net onto the floor to check the color of the danios, just really being rough with these tiny fish, then pushing them out of the net into the water box. 1/2 of these died within 24 hours. This is not the first time I've noticed this with the young employees. I called to complain to the store manager--he kept interrupting and insisting that it was my tank conditions.
