I bought the Majic jack to replace my phone as their advertising states. Intoxicated with the thought of all the money I would save, I plunked my $39.99 down. What I got was a daily pain. Pick up the phone and there would be no no no dial tone. Hang it up momentarily and you might or might get one and be able to make a call. More often than not the device had to be unplugged momentarily (usb connection in back of the computer making it a real pain to do) and then let it go through the reboot process.
