I attempted to use Vitalchek for a genealogical request. After submitting 9 documents on 4 seperate occasions, I still couldn't get my request, because i couldn't submit birth certificates for each generation to prove lineage. This isn't mentioned BEFORE you place the order. So they charge you for the privilege of NOT receiving the information you requested. I cannot recommend strongly enough that you NOT use Vitalchek for any genealogical requests. Frankly, I wouldn't use them for anything at all. It's the most difficult website to navigate, and I should have known that if it feels like a rip-off, it is a rip-off. read full review »
