Let me explain the situation. My boyfriend and I went in to cancel our month-to-month gym membership because we were moving across town and wouldn't have easy access to the gym. We went to the gym August 20, 2010 to cancel. The staff member working the desk said we could take care of it then and there but would have to pay the membership for September up front and a $10 processing fee.
