On May 19, 2010 at 3:30 p.m., I went into a Jared's in California while on vacation. I was greeted by a young guy who showed me around and then offered to give me a "free clean & check" on my rings. He admitted to me that he was not a jeweler, just a salesman. I gave him my rings to clean & check.
