I had to put a stop payment on a check due to someone having their purse stolen. First, it took me FOREVER to get to an attendant to help me and then, he told me it was going to cost $32 to put a stop payment. I told him I thought that it was an outrageous price to pay for him to push a button and he said "that's Chase's policy". Of course, I had to pay it to put the stop payment.
