My Bauer goalie skates are falling apart, and they're less than two years old! The hard plastic cowling around the boot, which is there to protect your foot from the puck, is cracking in more than one place. Bauer will sell you a new cowling, but the cost to buy it and get it installed is about the same cost as the skates were new! A better deal: buy someone else's skates. My last pair (which weren't Bauer) lasted me 25 years. read full review »
