Citimortgage is the most corrupt mortgage company we ever had. When the economy started the downward spiral and interest rates went way down, they advised us to get a loan modification. We had no idea what this really was, only what they told us. We signed all the paperwork and sent it. Months went by (only supposed to be 90 days, according to the contract), with them repeatedly asking for the same documents and claiming they were not sent.
