Similar complaint than Jeff. The company called my home phone to inform me that I had been selected and won 100, 000 Aeroplan* points for a vacation, to accept dial "1" and transfert to receptionist who ask me to confirm that I was over the age of 18 and had a valid credit card to check in to a resort (this is where I started to get suspicious!).
