I had been using a Nomi SIM since late 2009 and used it for over a year. All my personal and professional contacts had this number. Towards the end of October, I started getting texts stating that service would be discontinued on my existing SIM and I had to request for an 'upgrade'. The texts also stated that I was supposed to call their customer care on 325 or send an email if I wanted to retain the number and the remaining credit. I did both well before their intended date.
