A Telkom cable got cut by a tractor lawnmower at around 11am today 26 November 2010 and all three our lines went down. In the neighbourhood there were lots of people standing around the site where the cable had been damaged and a telkom technican was also there - he drove past when it happened and stopped to see what was going on. He mentioned that the cable contains about 800 individual telephone lines. We have web servers and various other servers at our offices which are required to be on all the time.
