Had a plumbing problem. The sump pump in my basement failed. First American declined to repair it. They say I have an extractor pump which is another name for sump pump. Since their contract specifies sump pump they refused to honor the claim. They believe that semantics is fair play. There is little differences between the cost of a sump pump or extractor pump.
