Over the last 6 months the price of fuel has gone up 1p per litre on average every fortnight. In the last 2 weeks the price has risen 4p per litre, despite there being no corresponding increase in the price of crude oil, and no adverse weather to hide behind. Effectively profiteering by stealth. This is before the upcoming increase in VAT which asda will no doubt blame for high prices, or insist they will absorb into their artificially inflated prices.
