I have an auto loan with Wells Fargo. I did receive two deferments from them in the past. One was when my wife could not work while she was pregnant; the other was when I had lost my job of many years. The original contract was extended four months and that time was added to the end of the loan. When the loan matured they said I still owed around 2800.00 and they wanted it in a balloon payment.
