I have the werner attic steps model 2208 mk2, i was in the attic and as i was coming down the steps the lower left hinger broke causing me to fall, in turn my left leg and lower back is hurting now and my hands a sore from tring to stop the fall. As i called the 1-800 number on the steps to tell them about this they said they would send out a replacement hing. This is a 300 pound ladder and i weight no where near that. i am affraid that this new hing will do the same or that the other side will break too.
