Beware of Booking.com I booked a hotel in Malmö, Sweden (Mayfair Hotel Tunneln) using this service on Dec 12 and I thought everything went smooth. I cancelled the hotel reservation around two days after (around Dec. 14) (good couple of days before the actual stay- Dec 18) and I thought the cancellation went through as I saw "Your reservation has been cancelled" message on the screen.
