I signed a contract with this Gym 16 days ago. I found out that my insurance company would pay the gym for my membership. They will not refund my money for the year contract even though they took all my information to bill the insurance company. They say that they "have to" stick with the contract I signed because it has been over 3 days. If the insurance payment is less, I would make up the difference, but I don't think they should get paid twice and I don't think they should deny me the benifit.
