I have Tupperware Modular Mates food storage containers which I use for dry food storage for items like flour, sugar, cereal, etc. Lately, they are leaching a plastic smell AND TASTE into the food. I contacted Tupperware since their products are supposed to have a lifetime warranty. However, it turns out that they are only warranted against chipping, cracking, breaking or peeling. Apparently leaching horrible chemical tastes into the food is considered normal and acceptable. read full review »
