Over several months this year, I've been dinged twice for late fees. The first time, I thought it was a post office fluke. The second time I was suspicious, but I called support and they took care of it. The third time on the very next month, being careful to mail my bill ahead of time, I was angry that the bank was trying to extort fees by their own incompetence, or failure to reach out to the local post office to get them to address their speed of handling.
