Do not waste your money on insurance when you fly on Jetstar, because they will side the insurance company when there is a case. My recent experience was for a claim on flight delay of 6 hours on a return trip from Bangkok to Singapore on flight 3K516 on Novenber 20, 2010. The flight was delayed from 3:45 pm to 9:45 pm. We were told by the flight attendants that the delay was due to a mechanical fault, and the plane needs to go through an emergency parts replacement.
