I cancelled my Health Plan Protector policy with Discover Life in Dec 09. The last payment should have been in Dec 09. Since then 3 payments have gone off as debit orders from my account. I phoned in to inquire why, have the payments reversed and ensure that it does not happen again. I was told that I have to fax bank statements, wait 48 hours for a migration to another system etc. The long and short was 'we have your money and if you don't jump through the hoops your not getting it back'.
