Viking magazine service contacted me by telephone to solicit magazine subscriptions. I initially accepted due to the incentive to receive a $100 Visa gift card. When the packet arrived, instead of the gift card, I received some type of voucher that I was supposed to fill out. An enclosed note stated I would not receive the gift card for another 8 to 10 weeks. The invoice indicated over triple the amount I was quoted over the phone for the price of the subscriptions.
