I took my 99' Ford to get a new battery at the 40k on odometer and took to NTB. At the time I didn't realize they hooked up the battery haphazardly, and left the negative terminal loose. After a few week's, I notice an excess of corrosion around the negative terminal with build up of powder. I cleaned the terminal, and left it at that. Few more weeks, battery finally has it and dies (Alternator cannot charge if not connected properly).
