Went for dinner at Min Jiang restaurant in Goodwood Park Hotel, Singapore, on Chinese New Year day. For a restaurant described as Sichuan the menu barely resembled the Sichuan style of food, more like a Cantonese style; a style that commands a higher price tag because of the types of food it serves. The food was only just acceptable but one dish, the diced chicken with dry chillis was very poor, bland and downright pathetic. I asked for them to take it back after trying a small piece.
