I had an unpaid bill (a lousy R 1036-00) which also popped up years later, which I have paid in an attempt to get these people off my back, regardless of the fact that it was nearly 7 years later and that I still await any statement from Telkom of the amount owing. I did not want to give them my personal details but only requested a bank account so that I could settle an account that was overlooked in my divorce proceedings.
