On 10th Dec 2010 I travelled from Dubai to Mangalore by AirIndia Express (IX814). I purchased a 32" Sony LCD from Dubai. In Dubai Sales man told that 32" TV is Duty free, but in Mangalore airport customs officer they ask to pay Rs. 8000/- for that. I purchased TV for Dhs. 1499/-. which is around Rs. 18000/-.
