My wife just got her first "O" magazine delivered with a bill for $19.95. Of course, she like most all of you I imagine thought she was just getting a free magazine. I did a google search and came up with the Des Moines, Iowa company that handles (allegedly) screwing people into subscriptions they don't want! LOL! "IMPORTANT" FILE A COMPLAINT NOW!! Last evening I ordered a "supposedly" free bottle of Bowltrol, and was just supposed to be charged like $2.00 and some change shipping, but if you go down further and read the fine print many more charges are pending. When you click the buy button, they forget to mention anything but the shipping charge. This morning I called my bank Wells Fargo, and they showed two charges pending at this time from HealthBuy. Looking at the many other complaints, it looks like I have been screwed! I'm going to look for where this company is based so I can make formal complaint to the attorney general. That is if they are even in the USA! My free trial bottle of Bowtrol cost me two charges of $9.90 and $89.90! I will learn from this lesson and only buy from trusted companies like Vitacost. read full review »
